One week out from the release of Tequila Sunrise, Super American has released a fourth single to prepare fans. “Chris from Walmart” – following the previously released “Hands Down Olivia,” “Coconut Shrimp,” and “Givin It Up” – showcases an energetic yet melodic guitar riff that leads the track, while lyrically the track takes a comedic approach to an interestingly unique relationship scenario.

Listen to “Chris from Walmart” for yourself at the top of the post.

Expanding on the song and where the story came from, Super American’s Pat Feely explains “My now-girlfriend lives an hour outside of my city in this little town where there’s nothing but a Walmart. This kid would put the moves on her every time she was in the Walmart. She even gave him her number just so he would let it up. I noticed every time she would talk about it I couldn’t get myself to criticize him. It was one of those ‘I’m not even mad, I’m impressed’ situations. The consistency, the audacity, it was inspiring.”
