Fireworks’ last album release came in the spring of 2014. For reference, this writer was a senior in high school during that time. Now, the year is 2019, and Fireworks are back.
In a tweet posted by the band today, the band shared a link to a website titled “higherlonelypower.com” which links users to a simple website with an album cover to the left and a short survey to the right. Once users complete the survey, a new song is revealed. It’s titled “Demitasse.”
The survey, meanwhile, asks questions like “do you believe a higher power is in control of your life?” and “are you too busy to notice war?”
Fans can listen to the new song here. This is Fireworks’ first song since releasing Oh, Common Life in March of 2014. They announced their hiatus in 2015.
