The Goo Goo Dolls may not have been front-and-center of the rock conversation for a few years now, but that certainly doesn’t mean the rock veterans have fallen off. In fact, they’ve done a great job at staying hip with the times: their new single, Miracle Pill, is just that: an ode to the times and the “instant gratification and relief we seek from our own circumstances,” as frontman Johnny Rzesnick puts it. The video, which sees them throwing brightly-colored paint against a stark, bland wall, makes use of eye-catching hues to get their point across: as soon as they take the so-called miracle pill, the walls begin bleeding happy colors. Watch below!

“Miracle Pill” is the title track off their forthcoming twelfth studio album. There’s no official release date for Miracle Pill yet, but just know that it will be coming this fall, with more details to be announced later. In the meantime, the duo will be keeping themselves extra busy, as they are currently in the midst of a huge co-headlining tour with fellow rock veterans Train. The tour has already kicked off, but you can find all remaining dates below, and tickets here.
