Lauv is back, but this time, he’s shared a remix to his latest single, “Drugs & The Internet.”

Revealed earlier today, Lauv shared that electro-and-indie-pop giants CHVRCHES took a stab at remixing his track, which as a press release notes, is a rare occurrence for the band as they haven’t done a remix of any songs since 2013.

Of the most-recent remix, Lauv shared in the press release: “I’ve been a fan of CHVRCHES since back when I was in college, so I was stoked to have them do the ‘Drugs & The Internet’ remix!”
As for the song itself, “Drugs & The Internet” is our first taste of what’s to come from the singer-songwriter, who is set to drop his debut album, ~how i’m feeling~, later this year! And until that album is out, Lauv revealed that he’ll constantly be dropping singles until its release.

In addition to releasing the remixed track, Lauv also made the announcement that he’s created a “collaborative Spotify playlist” that features some of his favorite remixes that have been released in recent years.

The playlist features CHVRCHES and some artists that he has collaborated with in the past, including Troye Sivan, Khalid and Marshmello. It’s racking up some follows (almost 100k), and you can check out his playlist by going here!
