Michigan rockers Stories Untold are gearing up to release their final album near the end of this month. They will be hitting the stage for the final time on March 30th near their hometown, in Pontiac at the Crofoot Ballroom. They’ve released a huge new single titled “Horrible Monsters.”
The single follows the band’s first single to the album, “Mrs Blues.” Regarding the new song, Stories Untold says, “From the unsettling silence to the unending noise, many of us have felt the unmatched weight that depression can put on us. It might come in the form of an alternative voice in your head telling you that no matter what, you will never be good enough. Sometimes, it’s the feeling of being alone, even in room with a hundred people. And other times, it’s the appetite that walked out on you two weeks ago. Whether seasonal or constant, depression is no joke. We hope that “Horrible Monsters” provides some sort of relief to those who may be struggling to to find the words to describe the weight they’re feeling.”
Stories Untold is the follow-up to 2016’s Can’t Go Home which featured hit singles “Hostage,” “Things Change,” and “All Your Fault.” The band re-issued the album in 2017 via Razor & Tie, but are announcing their breakup this year. Find more info on Stories Untold’s album release/final show here.
