The Japanese House has been incredibly generous in the run-up to the release of her debut album. With Good at Falling less than a month away from its March 1 release date, Amber Bain has shared a bevy of singles and tour dates in support of the project. This week we’ve been spoiled even more, as Bain has shared yet another single from the album. “We Talk all the Time” is the fourth single we’ve heard from Good at Falling, and it’s out now.

“We Talk all the Time” begins with Bain thinking about the relationships in her life, and the music reflects this. Her own voice reverberates through a variety of effects and filters like different thoughts bouncing around her head. As she realizes the relationships she’s thinking about might be on their last legs, the music gives out a bit to coincide with that let down. The song ends abruptly as well, which is startling and incredibly effective. The Japanese House is one of the best at merging the movement of music with lyrical ideas, and “We Talk all the Time” is one of her strongest efforts in that field to date.

You can listen to “We Talk all the Time” below. Pre-orders are still ongoing for Good At Falling, which is now just over three weeks away from dropping via Dirty Hit/Interscope Records.
