Lauren Stevenson has announced that she will be releasing their new album, The Big Freeze, on March 29th via Don Giovanni Records. Pre-orders are live here.

While she released two new songs this past December, neither will appear on The Big Freeze — the first full length from Laura Stevenson since 2015’s Cocksure. The new record was recorded in Stevenson’s childhood home during the dead of winter, marking a pivotal step for the singer/songwriter. While she has become well known among the punk and indie rock scenes, The Big Freeze shows a different side to Stevenson.

For the first time, Laura Stevenson is letting her voice and guitar be the clear, highlighted focus point of her music. The rend result is one that’s dark and emotionally devastating, all the whole being some of her most powerful music to date.

You can stream the first single “Living Room, NY” below.

Laura Stevenson will be going out on tour to support her new music. The tour kicks off this Thursday, February 7th in Gainesville, Flordia and will wrap up on June 6th in Madison, Wisconsin.

Below you will find all of those upcoming tour dates, as well as the artwork and track-listing for The Big Freeze.
