Toronto’s punk powerhouse PUP has been having a great year. Having recently announced a release date for their highly anticipated third album, Morbid Stuff, and a tour (which they’ve sold out quite a few dates on) to go with it, the Canadian four-piece has unveiled the futuristic, “bleak as fuck” Jeremy Schaulin-Rioux-directed video for “Kids”, the latest single off their upcoming album. The video, set 40 years in the future, sees the band getting back together after living bizarre lives apart.

“Jeremy cooked up this hilarious concept of what all of our lives would be like 40 years in the future,” explains PUP frontman Stefan Babcock. “Our goal was to sorta set viewers up for this happy feel-good ending, and then at the last minute, crush them with darkness. Just like life in the present, most things in the future will probably turn out shit, or, if we’re really lucky, fine at best.”

Watch the band reunite in the year 2059.

This spring, PUP will embark on huge, multi-month North American, UK and European tour in support of Morbid Stuff, and will string along a flurry of guests, including Diet Cig, Ratboys, Milk Teeth, Gender Roles, Casper Skulls, and Beach Bunny. New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Boston have all sold out, as well as all four U.K. and Canadian dates. A full list of dates are below, and tickets are available here.

The band’s next album, Morbid Stuff, is out April 5th via Little Dipper/Rise Records.
