Can’t Swim have finally announced their long-awaited sophomore album. The release will be titled This Too Won’t Pass and will drop on November 16th via Pure Noise Records. It serves as the follow-up to 2017’s Fail You Again.

During the recording process, lead vocalist/guitarist Chris LoPorto had found himself focusing on the word ‘evil’; a catch-all word that epitomized how he felt about a number of elements in his, past and present. “Problems haunt you, infect you, and in time become a part of who you are,” he explains, “You might find ways to distract yourself or try and forget, but every time you look in the mirror you’ll only see reminders of what you hate. Evil surrounds is and in time, becomes a part of who we are. Let this band be a reminder of that.”

To celebrate the news, Can’t Swim have released the first single off of This Too Won’t Pass called “My Queen” — check it out at the top of the post. If you like what you hear from the song, you can pre-order the new album here.

Additionally, the band will be hitting the road next month with Seaway, Trophy Eyes, Microwave, and Hot Mulligan. The tour is set to kick off on November 15 in Los Angeles, California, and will wrap up just over a month later on December 18 in Berkley, California.
