It’s been over a year since Memphis rock outfit Spaceface (the brainchild of The Flaming Lips’ Jake Ingalls) released their debut album, Sun Kids. The album was co-produced by Jarod Evans (Broncho) and featured collaborations with Mikaela Davis and Julien Baker, taking listeners on a ride they’d never forget through delicate harmonies and 70s inspired psychedelia.

In an effort to continue bringing fans on the journey that is Spaceface, today we’re excited to share the band’s newest single, “Sky And The Road.” The track showcases the band in a vigorously colorful light, propelling their sound into another stratosphere with the simple message that life is a beautiful thing. Experience “Sky And The Road” in the player below!

Ingalls shared with us the recipe behind the track, stating:
2 oz plucky guitar rhythms
1 oz Paul Simon bass groove
1/2 oz shimmering major melodies
Hard shake, Served over ice
Finish with cathartic bliss for a refreshing summer session punch

Fans can catch Spaceface on the In The Clouds tour, dates included below. For more details on the band and where to pick up “Sky And The Road,” head on over to spacefacemusic.com.
