We’ve all had those moments where life feels so overwhelming, we just can’t help but break down and cry. Whether it’s school, work, or a broken heart, knowing we have someone to lean on can be the biggest relief in those moments. With songs like the Anne-Marie collaboration “Friends” and the Lil Peep collaboration “Spotlight” (just two of the many singles he’s released so far in 2018), Marshmello proved that he knows what we’re feeling, and can make us dance while doing so; his latest is called “You Can Cry,” and this one – a collaboration with rapper Juicy J and British singer James Arthur – is no different.

The lyric video for “You Can Cry” can be seen above. Check out the lyrics to the chorus, which are words we all need to hear sometimes:

“Oh, you can cry on my shoulder
Everything’s alright
All the pain is finally over
You can close your eyes.”

With temperatures rising all over the US, it’s finally starting to feel like summer, and once again, Marshmello will be hitting the road hard. He’ll be performing several headlining shows, as well as making appearances at festivals like Together Festival in Bangkok, EDC Las Vegas, Summerfest in Milwaukee, Electric Forest in Rothbury, MI, and Electric Zoo in New York. Head over to marshmellomusic.com to see if Marshmello will be in a city near you!

Marshmello is the current Substream cover star, and you can read that story online here. Keep up with Substream to make sure you don’t miss an update from the silent DJ (and we have a feeling he’ll have more to share soon).
