Yesterday, Elton John announced his plans to retire from touring beginning with a three-year tour that started in 2018. It seems like that might be a trend for 2018, as Lynyrd Skynyrd have now announced that they will be retiring from touring as well.

Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Last of the Street Survivors Farewell Tour” will begin on May 4th in Palm Beach, Florida, and will go throughout the summer before wrapping up on September 1st in Atlanta, Georgia. Tickets will go on-sale on February 2nd at 10am local time, except for the Mansfield, Massachusetts and Detroit, Michigan show. For the Mansfield show, tickets will go on sale at 11am local time on February 2nd, while tickets for Detroit will go on sale at 10am local time on February 3rd. The tour will feature an a wide-array of musical guests for their big send-off including Kid Rock, Hank Williams Jr, Bad Company, Charlie Daniels Band, the Marshall Tucker Band. 38 Special, Blackberry Smoke and Blackfoot.
