Throughout the year it’s always fun to remember anniversaries of some of the albums we love. Who doesn’t enjoy listening to a record that’s dear to your heart and seeing how it affects you now that you’re older? It’s even better when the band themselves get in on the anniversary action. Say Anything has gone above and beyond with the upcoming 10th anniversary of their third album, In Defense of The Genre in October, announcing a very special set of tour dates to mark the occasion.
Each stop on the tour will stay in a city for two nights. The purpose of the two nights is for Say Anything to play In Defense, …Is A Real Boy, and Self-Titled in their entirety. Those three albums contain some of fans’ most adored songs from the band, so this truly is a great occasion for fans. While names have not been shared yet, the band also promises that some special guest will be joining them for the evenings in question.
The tour begins on November 25 and 26 in Phoenix, Arizona, and ends on January 30 and 31 in Dallas, Texas. In the middle are stops in Detroit, Boston, Atlanta, Denver, Seattle, New York, and many other major cities.
