PVRIS released their debut album, White Noise, at the end of 2014. 2017 seems like a fine time for them to come back, and it looks like we may get our wish. Earlier today, the band released a haunting video entitled “All We Know Of Heaven, All We Need Of Hell.” It’s incredibly cryptic, but also incredibly effective in getting us excited.
The title of the video comes from an Emily Dickinson poem displayed at the beginning of the video. The part in question reads: “Parting is all we know of heaven / and all we need of hell.” The video finds lead singer Lynn Gunn waking up in a bathtub in a hotel of sorts. After smashing a mirror and getting dressed, she wanders the halls flanked by cultists. Gunn eventually makes her way to a piano and sits down to play.
Whatever PVRIS have up their sleeves, you can be sure we’ll be covering it. Hopefully, we don’t have to wait too long to see what’s in store for us.
