No one would blame you for mistaking Noah Cyrus for her older sister, Miley, at first glance. The two siblings look quite a bit alike, but their creative output is usually another story altogether. Miley is the weird one, while Noah is a bit more focused on the world of Top 40.

Today, Noah Cyrus took one step toward being a bit more like Miley by releasing “Stay Together,” a generic and infectious pop anthem intended to set radio on fire just in time for summer. It plays like Noah’s own version of “Party In The USA,” which her sister used to take a step into the national spotlight way back in 2009. That said, it’s a song whose appeal is almost impossible to deny. Check it out:

Considering that the only other single Noah Cyrus has released is 2016’s power-balled “Make Me Cry” it’s hard to know what “Stay Together” might tell us about the future of her music. If nothing else, at least we now know Noah is just as capable of having fun with her music as her sibling(s).

Cyrus’ debut album NC-17 is supposedly coming out later this year.
