Lancaster, Pennsylvania four-piece Carousel Kings are gearing up to release their third album, titled Charm City, which will be available on February 10 through Victory Records. The 13-track album is packed with spirit and spry enthusiasm that could lift virtually anyone out of a funk and into a stage dive. “Grey Goose” is a perfect example of this, with the kind of adrenalized energy inherent in pop-punk music. The single will most certainly encourage you to bang your head and jump around, and its Dustin Smith-directed visuals might incite a desire to do some indoor skydiving, too. “Now this was a lot of fun to shoot!” says vocalist David Alexander. “Indoor skydiving is unlike anything else we had ever experienced. That experience mirrors more of what to expect from us musically—the fun pop-punk vibe to it, but still has a deeper meaning lyrically as does the rest of Charm City.”
Charm City is currently available for pre-order in a variety of formats and bundles through Victory Records.
Carousel Kings recently announced an extensive tour in support of Charm City that will find the band on the road for at least 40 dates(!) with Abandoned By Bears and Bad Case Of Big Mouth. The full routing, which begins in New Jersey on March 2, can be found below:
