New York City’s leading electronic music festival, Electric Zoo returns to Randall’s Island Park this coming Labor Day Weekend, September 1st-3rd. The festival announced its 2023 Hyperspace addition, which is set to include a slew of specially curated stage takeovers from some of the festivals most talented artists and musicians.

Substream Magazine is pleased to spotlight the curatorial debut of Swiss-South African DJ and deep house producer Nora En Pure’s takeover of the Morphosis stage on Sunday September 3rd. Supporting her brand and record label, Purified, Nora En Pure will transform the stage into a full stage takeover. Purified, which according to Nora was “founded on emotional and driving melodic music that can be enjoyed both on and off the dancefloor”, will immerse fans in a soul-stirring experience of melodic and deep house, featuring a lineup of renowned artists known for their ability to transport audiences on a captivating journey through emotive melodies and alluring soundscapes.

Festival attendees can expect a truly memorable journey through the sonic landscapes of this immersive stage which will feature the mesmerizing sounds of Elderbrook, a Nora En Pure sunset set as well as a highly anticipated b2b set with Franky Wah.

Additionally taking the Purified stage by storm are femme duo Giolì & Assia, as well as the acclaimed duo Local Dialect. Volaris, who’s been heavily championed by John Summit & his Off The Grid records label, will go back to back with global sensation Paige, while a true favorite Purified artist, Paradoks, is slated to make his Electric Zoo debut for what is sure to be a mesmerizing set.

When speaking to the overall experience of the Purified stage, Nora adds “I think the beauty of a New York crowd is it really includes people from all over the world. With our lineup, we have invited members of our Purified family that have released on the imprint, and artists that sonically align with our concept and our overall vibe. Personally I think the lineup is incredible, so I hope that feeling is shared by our fans and also people that happen to come across our stage on the day.”
