Atreyu have announced that they will be heading out on a co-headlining tour with Memphis May Fire taking place this summer and fall.
Dubbed the “We Want Your Misery” tour, the run will kick off on August 26th in Ventura, California and wrap-up a month later on September 26th in Bozeman, Montana. They will be joined by Catch Your Breath and Another Day Dawns as support. In between the run, Atreyu will be performing at California Is for Lovers and Rocklahoma 2023, joining Godsmack on September 5th for a handful of dates, and after the “We Want Your Misery” tour ends, will be performing a few shows with Iron Maiden in Canada beginning September 28th.
Atreyu have recently announced that they will be releasing their new EP, The Moment You Find Your Flame, on August 8th via Spinefarm. It will follow-up their previous EP, The Hope of a Spark, and can be pre-saved here. The EP’s latest single “Gone” can be heard above. Atreyu also announced The Beautiful Dark of Life album due later this year as part of the EP series, delivering the final chapter of the Seasons of Life concept along the rollercoaster of human emotions.
The Moment You Find Your Flame EP, produced by long-time collaborator John Feldmann, reflects the struggle in recognizing one’s self-worth and it touches on internal battles, self-doubt, and insecurities that can overshadow one’s perception of their own abilities. The band has found its own flame, a metaphor for their soul-baring introspection and providing comfort and catharsis through music in the face of universal emotions that unite us all
