Two highly anticipated new tracks, written and produced by Audio Up CEO Jared Gutstadt, and from four-part, smash Halloween podcast HALLOWEEN IN HELL, have been released via Sony Music RECORDS and Audio Up Music. “Climb,” featuring Machine Gun Kelly and 24kGoldn, with music icon Tommy Lee (who recently released his solo album Andro) on drums, and “Empty Souls,” featuring recording artist iann dior are both available now through all streaming services. Both tracks were featured in the HALLOWEEN IN HELL season finale, which accumulated an impressive one million streams during its four week run.
Taking homage from music horror hits like “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” and the dark comedy of “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” HALLOWEEN IN HELL is set during Halloween, where 24kGoldn and metal mistress Dana Dentata find themselves trapped on a soundstage reminiscent of Hell, with a sadistic host who has lured them into a singing competition. It is there they must impress a jury of the damned (R.Kelly & Phil Spector) and rescue themselves from the clutches of evil. With each of the main cast playing fictional versions of themselves, these acclaimed musical, cross-genre performers beckon listeners to follow them on a journey to hell and back. The star-studded cast includes multi-platinum Interscope Records recording artist, actor and Billboard chart topper pop culture icon, Machine Gun Kelly, rock legend Tommy Lee, acclaimed musician and performance artist Dana Dentata, 10K Projects recording artist iann dior, multi-platinum RECORDS/Columbia Records’ recording artist 24kGoldn, and musician/writer PHEM.
“From crafting the story, writing the original music and then recording it all at the Audio Up facility, all reflects our unique and innovative approach to the audio streaming universe,” said President of Audio Up Music, John Ingrassia. “Working with creative, relevant and commercially successful artists, at points in their careers where they can choose the stories they want to tell and the songs to record, fulfills our desire to collaborate with them on both levels, and is setting Audio Up apart from the pack. The fact that this is all happening from within the walls of our own studios makes it possible for us to take more chances, be more creative, and capitalize on the amazing opportunities in the current audio environment.”
The podcast was conceived and produced by Audio Up Media CEO, Jared Gutstadt, and executive produced by Machine Gun Kelly, and was written by Audio Up Media CCO Jimmy Jellinek. Original music (penned and produced by Gutstadt, alongside the cast) debuted in every episode and is now available across all digital and streaming platforms.
