AWOLNATION release “The Best” + announce tour w/ Andrew McMahon

AWOLNATION is back with new music and ready to take over your day with two big announcements.

First, they’ve dropped a brand new song called “The Best.” It’s the first single off of their upcoming, to be announced album — though according to the press release, the album will feature appearances from Weezer’s Rivers Cuomo and Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros’ Alex Ebert. It’s their first taste of new music since last year’s Here Come the Runts.

The second piece of news coming from AWOLNATION today is that they revealed their plans for a 2020 tour with Andrew McMahon, dubbed “The Lightning Riders Tour.” Also on the tour will be The Beaches and Bleeker.

The summer tour will kick off on May 22nd in Asbury Park, New Jersey and wrap up on June 24th in Troutdale, Oregon. Pre-sale tickets are on sale now, with general tickets set to be released this Friday, November 8th. Check out the full list of tour dates below.
