Ellie Goulding and Juice WRLD have unveiled the music video for their collaboration “Hate Me.” The video was directed by Saam Farahmand and captures the social media fixation that tends to occur at the end of an unhealthy relationship.
The video sees Goulding and Juice WRLD in their own isolated video sets with Goulding checking social media and taking photos of a voodoo doll dressed to look like her while Juice WRLD blows smoke throughout his featured verse. The dark and moody visual perfectly highlights the haunting quality of the track as Goulding taunts an ex lover for being unable to forget about her.
