Maude Latour is impressively experienced at 19 years old. She’s lived in places as far reaching as Stockholm and Hong Kong,  speaks 3 languages, is currently studying philosophy and politics at Columbia University, and is leading a blossoming career in music. After releasing her first project, High School High, just last year Latour has no intentions of slowing down. Her latest single “Starsick” captures the conflict of growing up while experiencing the best parts of it with your favorite person.
“This song was a birthday gift to my best friend, Morgan, hence the undertones of turning 19. This song is an ode to her. She is the person with whom I immediately feel this power. She sees the universe the same way that I do. My soulmate.” Latour says, “The song includes the guilt I’ve always felt around growing up; a loss of childhood that gets replaced by a pact to never be boring.”
Latour is a New York City based singer songwriter whose most recent single “Plans” was featured on Spotify’s New Music Friday. Latour’s easily confident vocals over spacy technicolor pop tracks will strike a chord with you this summer whether you’re at the beach or driving down the highway to your next adventure.
