It’s here: VEDA’s new album Sweetheart, which combines ambient garage-punk songs with infectious melodies. The new album is VEDA’s first since 2017’s Soir EP. It features the singles “Sweetheart” and “5-HT.” Fans can check out the album, officially out today, below.
Regarding the track, VEDA explains, “My intention behind the ‘Sweetheart’ EP is to inspire feelings of hazy nostalgia and to capture the essence of uncertainty of living life in your 20s, which at times can be both exciting and chaotic. The result is 5 lo-fi pop songs, that could be the soundtrack to someone’s summer through a fuzzy VHS lens.”
