Broccoli City revealed its 2019 lineup Wednesday. The late April event is set to bring music, food, live art, fitness, and more to the D.C. area.
Set to take place at D.C.’s FedEx Field the weekend of April 25, the three-day multi-format event will be headlined by Childish Gambino, Lil’ Wayne, Ella Mai, 6lack, Lil Baby, Teyana Taylor, and more.
Despite what it sounds like, the festival will also include a number of panels and one-on-one interviews with industry professionals and prominent figures such as Amber Grimes (SVP, Global Creative, Capitol Music Group), Shelly Bell (CEO, Black Girl Ventures), and Dr. Wes Bellamy (City Councilman, Charlottesville), among others.
The festival will also open with BC All Night: The Preview, set to take place on April 26th at 7:00 PM, and will feature a special Broccoli City edition of the user-generated concert experience, TRAPKaraoke and live performances from Trippie Redd, Tobe Nwigwe, Bri Steves, and OG Chase B.
Last year’s festival was headlined by Migos, Miguel, and Cardi B, and drew in a crowd of more than 35,000 fans.
Tickets go on-sale to the public Friday, January 18th at 10:00 a.m. EST. Admission for Broccoli City’s #FitFest5K (April 27) will be announced separately.
