Basement release music video for new single “Stigmata”

Basement had been relatively quiet on new music since signing to Fueled by Ramen Records, until last month when they announced their new album, Beside Myself, and even released a new song called “Disconnect.”

Today, Basement have revealed another new song from Beside Myself, this one titled “Stigmata” – which you can check out at the top of the post. Front-man Andrew Fisher commented on “Stigmata”, explaining “This was the first time I had tried a different tuning and the song pretty much came out all in one go. It felt really organic – in fact I think the arrangement on the record is the same as the demo I first showed anyone.”

Beside Myself will be released on October 12th via Fueled by Ramen Records and can be pre-ordered here. To support the release, Basement will embark on a short run of U.S. shows in October, followed by another short UK run in November. Elder Brother and Pllush will be joining Basement on their U.S. run, while Joyce Manor will be support for the UK shows.
