There is a second chance to catch New Zealand witch rock band Hex! After a successful first tour in March and taking all the post-SXSW “Best Band” mentions, they are back!

It is easy to see why the comparisons to Sleater Kinney, King Woman, and Cherry Glazerr are there, but the ladies have their own dark and at time animated anthem.

New single “Billboard” is at times dark and at times animated, proffering an elusive celebration of dissent underlaid by threading vocals, pulsating drums, and barely contained rage; a pro-choice rock anthem that directs its anger toward New Zealand male politicians and the contemporary zeitgeist that restricts women’s freedoms.

The new music and video will be out September 6.
