Chicago thunderpunk’s Retirement Party recently signed with Counter Intuitive Records (Mom Jeans, Just Friends, Prince Daddy & The Hyena) and will release their debut album — a collection of songs with monumental riffs and hooks so effortlessly conversational that they beg for sloppy sing-alongs and stick and poke tattoos called Somewhat Literate on May 25th.
The band has just released the second single from the record — the explosive and emphatic “Shoulder It,” which can be heard below.
