The first truly warm days of Spring are finally starting to roll across the country and each sun-kissed moment of pollen-soaked daylight feels worth stepping outside of my house to enjoy. I want to cruise with the windows open and listen to the soft sounds of warm and tranquil pop music that doesn’t judge me for wanting to get just a little bit day drunk in the backyard in shorts and a purposely obnoxious dad-shirt. And for that, we’ve got Ontario’s premiere shorebirds, The Bae Beach Club.

“All Day” is the kind of crisp Summer chantey that begs to be heard with your toes buried in the sand, the warm glow of the Sun reminding you how good it can feel to live in the outside world, and is about as refreshing as an ice-cold drink in the scorching ninety-degree weather. Each reprise of the choruses singular line, “I’ve been planning our escape all day” crashes into your ears as gently as the tide breaking on the shore; it’s a warm flood of pure pop bliss that keeps you coming back for more.

When asked about the track, The Bae Beach Club said: “This song encompasses getting lost daydreaming in a less than desirable reality.” Listen below.

“All Day” comes from The Bae Beach Club’s Our Escape EP out May 18th.
