Spring is in the air, and it’s as fresh as Sigrid’s newest song, “High Five,” — a fast-paced, yet dreamy track, which just released today and is available for download.
“High Five” is the third of her newest collection of songs from the pop artist. Her previously released tracks, including “I Don’t Wanna Know” and “Raw” are more slow and methodical, while this newest song has a more fun and fast-paced sound, while still having transparent lyrics.
“The importance of those relations where you both dare to be completely honest with each other, rather than exchanging superficial ‘high fives,’” the artist shares about the newest song.
“Oh, everybody loves a show” / “Lights on, they all go home” / “You, holding anybody close” / “The high fives is all you got,” Sigrid sings as the song builds up to a danceable and poppy chorus. The track has released just in time for spring festivals, including Coachella, where the artist will be performing at this weekend.
