It’s no secret that Hayley Williams of Paramore has been keeping a close eye on our little corner of the music world; she can often be seen sharing screencaps and lyrics from acts like Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers, and Big Thief. Williams & co have taken it a step further and plucked two incredible acts (Soccer Mommy and Jay Som) out of relative obscurity and into the hearts of Paramore fans across the country.
This isn’t the first time that we’ve seen this happen either; when Paramore was touring in support of Riot! they brought out Now, Now (then Now, Now Every Children) and we’ve seen first hand just what that little boost can do for a band.
The tour kicks off on June 12th and you can grab your tickets here. The first half of the tour will see Soccer Mommy as support, with Jay Som tagging in on July 2nd to close out the back-half. All upcoming tour dates can be seen below.
