Halsey is back with a music video just released to go with her newest song, “Alone.” The slow but passionate song plays against a glossy, dreamy cabaret party. The video also has Big Sean and Stefflon Don hanging out at the club as well, as both are featured on the new song.
Directed by Halsey and Hannah Lux Davis, the video is as dreamy as it is glamorous, as the artists where’s a bejeweled Britney Spears – type jumpsuit throughout the video. The song talks about heartbreak and being lost in one’s head, with the pre-chorus singing, “See, everywhere I go, I got a million different people tryna kick it, but I’m still alone in my mind.”
The track is off of Halsey’s newest album, “hopeless fountain kingdom,” which came out on iTunes on June 2, 2017. The artist is currently on tour through September 22.
