Last call, Pitches!
The first trailer for the final Pitch Perfect film arrived online late Saturday night. The third feature in the long-running series reunites the principal cast for one final musical journey.
In the latest film, college has come to an end and the Bellas are doing their best to adjust to life in the real world. The only thing is, they are not necessarily cut out for the stereotypical life. So, in a last ditch effort to save their sanity and feel alive, the gang decides to take their award-winning live show around the globe with yet another flimsy, but good enough excuse to get the gang back together.
Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Hailee Steinfeld, Brittany Snow, Anna Camp, Hana Mae Lee, Ester Dean, Alexis Knapp, Chrissie Fit, Kelley Jakle, Shelley Regner, Elizabeth Banks and John Michael Higgins all return and are joined by additions including John Lithgow and Ruby Rose.
The official synopsis for Pitch Perfect 3 reads:
“After the highs of winning the World Championships, the Bellas find themselves split apart and discovering there aren’t job prospects for making music with your mouth. But when they get the chance to reunite for an overseas USO tour, this group of awesome nerds will come together to make some music, and some questionable decisions, one last time.”
