Since the release of Sweet Disarray in 2014, Dan Croll has done well for himself. With a debut television appearance on Jimmy Kimmel, live performances with CHVRCHES, Bastille and Imagine Dragons, and amassing 69 million streams on Spotify, the Liverpool native has shown himself as an upcoming force to be reckoned with in the music world.

Thankfully, 2017 is bringing Croll back stateside with the release of his new album, Emerging Adulthood. The 10-track record is set for release on July 21 via Kobalt Music Group and Communion Records and was produced by Grammy winning Ben Allen (Animal Collective, Cee-Lo Green, Matt & Kim) in Atlanta’s Milk Money Studios. The first American single from the record titled “Bad Boy” dropped today via Billboard, and it’s an indie pop dream every bit as catchy as it is clever.

In a press release for the song, Croll said, “I’m not sure what it says about the state of my mind, but maybe there are bits that are borderline psychotic. I’ve never wanted to stick to one genre. It’s either because I’m easily distracted or because my mum brought me up on brass bands, Brian Wilson, jazz and Michael Jackson. I can’t see the fun in sticking to one sound.”

Croll will embark on a North American tour starting September 7 in New York City and ending on September 24 in San Diego, California. For a full list of tour dates and to purchase tickets, visit his website here.
