Back in November The Weinstein Company released Lion, its movie based on the true story of Saroo Brierley, an Indian man adopted as a child who later in life found his biological family after an exhaustive search. Sia contributed to the soundtrack of the movie with “Never Give Up,” and today the song received the lyric video treatment.
In fitting with the theme of the movie, the song is an anthem of determination, with Sia singing of always moving forward and finding your way back home. The video takes the form of two children (one being Sia’s usual go-to, Maddie Ziegler) with blank faces in Sia’s iconic wig running through a train yard, with the lyrics appearing as graffiti on the trains and tracks.
