On Wednesday Taylor Swift ended her long silence and recent social media purge with the announcement her sixth album is coming in November. Titled Reputation, the new album is Swift’s fist since 2014’s 1989. Included in this reveal was the news that the new single would be released tonight. True to her word, Swift has unveiled the new track, titled “Look What You Made Me Do.”

Swift brings a sound she’s never explored before, combining keys with pulsing synths, booming bass, and menacing electronics. As to the subject matter, Swift makes very clear that she does not like the person she’s singing about. The track is bursting with righteous fury that signals a definite shift from 1989 in both tone and instrumental, proving that Swift can adapt to any sound she needs to. To drive the point home further, at one point in the track Swift proclaims the old Taylor is dead.

Give the track a listen below. Reputation is out on November 10. You have 77 days to prepare. You can pre-order it here.
