Summer 2017 is looking to be the craziest festival season in recent memory. There is not a week or weekend between the middle of May and the middle of August that does not have some kind of major music event going on. We wish we could attend them all, as we imagine many of you do as well, but unfortunately out festival dollars could not possibly stretch that far.
With this in mind, festival goers need to choose carefully when picking their summer music destination. We’ve been pouring over lineups ourselves and so far nothing compares to the fun-filled insanity that will be Spring Awakening. Set for June 9-11 in Chicago, the festival will bring together the biggest names in music today and some of the most devout fans from all corners of the Earth. Just look at this lineup:
To attempt naming everyone on this poster worth seeing would be to essentially write out every name on this list, but Substream subscribers will recognize Marshmello from his recent spread in issue 56 (on stands now). Other staff favorites include Die Antwoord, Griz, Krewella, Snailz, and – of course – Diplo.
