Today, Point North are diving into a new chapter with their brand new single, “Bring Me Down.”

The single originally premiered on Sirius XM Octane yesterday, May 2nd, and quickly was acclaimed by listeners. “Bring Me Down” follows their recent fan-favorite collaboration with The Ghost Inside, “Safe and Sound,” which recently climbed its way into the Top 20 at rock radio.

On the new single, Point North shares the following statement,

This song is just about toxic relationships and feeling isolated. It touches on feeling like no one is really out for your best interest and only after their own. It also reflects on growing older and becoming more aware of who you surround yourself with and what relationships are worth keeping. All with a touch of ‘fuck you’ to the rest of them.

‘Bring Me Down’ started as a very pop centric demo as most of our songs do. But when the label said the demo wasn’t heavy enough we decided to make it our heaviest song yet. So we are very proud of this one and can’t wait to play it live on our tour with From Ashes To New.

This song leans a little more into our heavier element. When I was trying to get inspired to write this song I started covering an Ashnikko song, and then it just sort of turned into what it is now. I love how fresh it feels combining our favorite metal core instrumentation and the more industrial pop I love to make.”
