Rising indie/pop singer Ber has shared her new single today, titled “It’s Impressive.” The song’s released comes after she teased the track with fans, eliciting over 3.4 million views on teaser videos, with the comments flooded with fans asking for the full version to be released — now, their wish comes true.

Now that we can all listen to the full version of “It’s Impressive,” it’s fair to say the song lives up to the hype and further shows with it was making such a connection with listeners before it was even released. The song itself is set to a backdrop of a soft chiming piano while Ber’s soothing, crystalline voice tells the story of a relationship which seemingly has everything going for it – except the security of it being defined as a relationship.

“’It’s Impressive’ spilled out of me in about 20 minutes one day when I sat down at the piano for my daily write (which was a challenge I had set for myself for the month of January),” Ber explains on the track. “ I was just writing about what was in front of me, which were these very real and confusing emotions I was having for someone who I’ve been ‘dating’ but not really dating. It felt so funny to dissect a situationship in this way, it was so odd how sad I was feeling about something that wasn’t really even real or official. It blew up overnight on TikTok after posting it the same day, I clearly was not alone and situationships are shockingly common now. It was a bittersweet feeling to have struck a chord with this one.”
