As suggestions have poured in from fans across the country, multi-platinum country artist Chris Lane has announced three additional dates for his social-media driven “Find Another Bar Tour: College Edition.”

Today, Lane announced additional stops in Athens, Georgia at the University of Georgia, Columbia, South Carolina at the University of South Carolina, and Gainesville, Florida at the University of Florida. Tickets went on sale today, February 7th, at 10am local time here.

Building on the success of his current rising single “Find Another Bar,” the Lane’s wild idea started as an urge to do something different. Reaching out to his fans via social media, he ended up asking which college towns he should visit. Now, Lane’s fans have helped plan a series of unique performances in vibrant college towns on the this run, where they can get a down-to-earth experience with the high-flying singer-songwriter — a nod to his early days as an artist.

For Lane, “Find Another Bar” is a fuzzed out country/rock anthem that captures what it feels like to not only lose love, but also lose your favorite bar to hang out at. The track was co-written by Lane with Josh Thompson and Justin Ebach. The Derek Wells-produced track stands as the lead single from his latest EP, From Where I’m Sippin (Red Street Records/Voyager Records), which features five fresh-Country concoctions in total – four of which were co-written by Lane.
