Today, the multi-platinum and Grammy Award-winning rock band Creed have announced their first headlining tour of North America in over a decade.
The news follows their “Summer of ’99 Cruise” announcement back in July, and not only shares the name but also some of the same supporting acts as well. The highly anticipated “Summer of ’99,” like the cruise, will feature direct support from 3 Doors Down on the majority of the tour, with Daughtry, Switchfoot, Tonic, and Big Wreck joining Creed on select dates. Finger Eleven will be the opener for the entirety of the tour.
The 40-city tour, produced by Live Nation, will kick off on July 17th at the Resch Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin and make stops across North America including cities like Toronto, Nashville, Dallas, and more before wrapping up at the Hard Rock Hotel on September 28th in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
A limited number of lawn seats in select markets will be available for $19.99 to commemorate the Summer Of ’99 Tour. Creed is also hosting an exclusive one-day event — Summer of ’99 and Beyond Festival — in San Bernardino, CA on August 31 at the Glen Helen Pavilion with 3 Doors Down, Daughtry, Finger Eleven, Fuel, Vertical Horizon, The Verve Pipe in support.
Tickets will be available with presages starting tomorrow, October 31st, with general on-sale tickets starting Friday, November 3rd at 10am local time here.
