After a triumphant return to the stage at Boston Calling and Sonic Temple, Queens of the Stone Age have announced the details regarding their highly-anticipated North American headlining tour.

Dubbed “The End Is Nero” tour, the run is in support of the band’s new album, In Times New Roman…, which will be released digitally and physically on June 16th via Matador Records. In addition to the tour announcement, Queens of the Stone Age will be celebrating the release of the long-awaited album at Midnight Club parties taking place at record shops and pubs across 23 countries. The Midnight Club starts at 11pm on June 15th and will feature giveaways, exclusive merch including limited edition colored vinyl, and — in a few select locations — signed merchandise and ticket giveaways. Midnight will provide the Queens of the Stone Age faithful with a first chance to hear In Times New Roman… in its entirety, amongst friends, family and of course appropriate levels of bacchanalia.

The band will be kicking off “The End Is Nero” tour on August 3rd in Sterling Heights, Michigan and cross the continent before wrapping up on October 8th at Aftershock in Sacramento, California. Queens of The Stone Age and Citi pre-sales are currently activate now with a public on-sale starting this Friday, June 9th at 10am local time. The east coast leg of the tour will feature support from Phantogram and The Armed. Viagra Boys and Jehnny Beth will support on the mid-west and west coast dates.

Fans can pre-order In Times New Roman… here, and find more information on tickets for the fall tour here.
