Fresh off his run of acclaimed-intimate performances and major festival appearances, Andre 3000 has announced a fall headlining tour of North America.
The tour will continue to be in support of his critically-acclaimed solo album, New Blue Sun, which was released in November via Epic Records. Co-produced by Andre 3000 and lauded multi-instrumentalist Carlos Niño, and featuring the playing of Nate Mercereau, Surya Botofasina, Deantoni Parks, Diego Gaeta, Matthewdavid,V.C.R, Diego Gaeta, Jesse Peterson, and Mia Doi Todd, New Blue Sun is an entirely instrumental album; a celebratory piece of work in the form of a living, breathing, improvised, aural organism.
This special run of newly announced shows will feature Carlos Niño, Nate Mercereau, and Surya Botofasina with Deantoni Parks. The tour will kick off in New Orleans with stops at iconic venues across the country; The Greek Theater in Los Angeles, John F. Kennedy Center For The Performing Arts in Washington D.C., BAM Howard Gilman Opera House in Brooklyn and more.
