After sending fans into a frenzy over the last couple of months, and more so the last couple of days by wiping their Instagram and website, blink-182 have confirmed the rumors: Tom DeLonge is back.

Alkaline Trio’s Matt Skiba respectably held down the fort for the pop-punk trio from 2015-2019, but always said he would step aside when the time was right for DeLonge to rejoin the band — and it appears now is that time. Today, blink-182 not only announced their reunion with Tom DeLonge, but announced that they will be heading out on a massive global tour in 2023 and 2024, with support including Turnstile, Rise Against, The Story So Far, and Wallows.

One more thing for good measure: blink-182 will be releasing a new single, “Edging,” this Friday. No two year wait this time.

Tickets for blink-182’s tour next year will go on sale to the general public on Friday at 10am on the band’s website.

Check out their announcement video below, which includes a snippet of “Edging,” as well as all of their announced tour dates.
