Today, chart-topping singer/songwriter Tai Verdes has released his latest new single, “how deep?” — off his upcoming sophomore album, HDTV, due out September 16th. Pre-orders for the album can be found here.
Sharing on the new single, Verdes explains, ““‘how deep?’ is a song that I made about not knowing anything.” He continues, “And I hope that when people hear it, they feel lost, but also found, but also lost. Love has a tendency to make you feel like that.”
The single is accompanied by a cinematic music video captured during Verdes’ recent trip to Australia, and features live performance footage from his shows in Sydney & Melbourne.
The shows are part of Verdes’ first-ever global headline 2022 HDTV Tour, which resumes this autumn with 30+ dates in the US and abroad. This weekend, Tai will hit the stage at Reading & Leeds Festivals and will continue his festival run with upcoming performances at Life Is Beautiful, Breakaway Festival, Austin City Limits, and more. HDTV is a continuation of Tai’s first studio album TV, which was released on May 20, 2021 and has gained more than 1 billion streams to date and solidified Tai as a global hitmaker. TV debuted at #3 on Billboard’s Heatseekers album chart and #5 on Spotify’s debut album chart, and includes international smash “A-O-K,” which is RIAA Certified Platinum in the US, as well as Certified Platinum in Australia, Canada and Ireland. In addition, viral hits “Stuck In The Middle” and “DRUGS” are both RIAA Certified Gold in the US, as well as Certified Gold in Canada. These certifications solidified Tai’s spot as part of RIAA’s Class of 2021.
