Foxfrd closes out 2021 with a great preview of 2022.

As his upcoming project approaches, Los Angeles Alternative recording artist, Foxfrd, releases a finale to 2021 with the follow-up track to “Where Are All My Friends” in new song, “Tempest.” To close out a breakout year, Foxfrd — also a video game animator — delivers a thank you letter to those who stuck by him that takes us out of this world with spaced-out scenery accompanied with dramatic lyrics. In the song, he says: “Hold onto me, My gravity / Floating out in the void, I can’t see a thing.”

In Tempest, the rising star explores the darkness while addressing the trials and tribulations that come with the grind. “Tempest” celebrates the love and support he has experienced from friends and family as he continues to strive to be the best version of himself. Parts of the production were inspired by the J.Cole classic “No Role Modelz.” Prototyping the beat from scratch, Foxfrd chose not to use a specific sample and instead, found inspiration from a sound in the popular game Borderlands.

An artist-to-watch in 2021, all the new music leads to Foxfrd’s anticipated debut EP in January. For Foxfrd, what better way to end the year than with gratitude and recognition for what’s truly important. For more on Foxfrd and the upcoming project, follow the rising star daily on social media.
