This Friday, October 16th, rising global superstar beabadoobee will be releasing her debut album, Fake It Flowers, via Dirty Hit. To date, she has shared the previously released singles, “Worth It,” “Sorry” and “Care.” Pre-orders for Fake It Flowers can be found here.
Today, though, beabadoobee has given fans another taste of the new album, this time with the single “Together,” and it’s accompanying music video. In the honest and vulnerable spirit of Fake It Flowers, “Together” is about wrestling with the need for for affection and comfort, while also understanding how its impossible to stay in the same place in time forever.
Bea says, “This song is about the dependency you have with someone and missing that when you’re away and learning to be by yourself. It’s written from that point when you’re feeling alone and thinking everything is better when you’re with that other person.”
To celebrate the release, beabadoobee will be perfuming the entire album in full with a full-band on October 16th at 3:30pm ET. Additionally, she has also previously announced the Fake It Flowers headline tour for Fall 2021 with 14 dates across the UK and Ireland, including a hometown show at London’s O2 Forum Kentish Town. Presale tickets go on sale Wednesday, September 9, 2020; general on-sale begins Friday, September 11, 2020.
