It’s a great day to be a fan of the Overcoats. Today they announced their new album The Fight, a single and a tour! The Fight is a 10 song album that hopes to inspire listeners to push towards their goals! This Brooklyn duo is ready to make a difference and motivate others to do the same. The album is set to come out March 5th via Loma Vista Recordings. With Justin Raisen (Angel Olsen, Charli XCX, Santigold) and Yves Rothman (Yves Tumor, Empress Of, girl in red, Miya Folick) as the producers, this album is guaranteed to be great.

“The idea you have to fight for who you are, what you want, and what you hope to see in the world became poignant for us,” says Overcoats. “We realized the thing to do is not to wait for life to get easier, but to start fighting harder.”

They released a single off the album today called “Fire and Fury” with a music video to go along. The lyrics are dark, yet comforting at the same time, with hope towards the future. “There’s a fire, there’s a fury, the sky is falling, but we’ll get through it.”
