Circa Waves have released a brand new playfully sinister music video for “Jacqueline,” the first single from their upcoming record, Sad Happy. Sad Happy will be released on March 13th, 2020 via Prolifa Inc./[PIAS] and can be pre-ordered here.

The video is shot in the setting of a 70’s themed mansion and finds Circa Waves getting wrapped up in a spot of bother at the party they’re playing at. The band’s energy matches the mood of the party, shifting dramatically as it goes on.

“Do you like conga lines? Of course you do! Who doesn’t?,” says Circa Waves frontman Kieran Shudall on the music video. “After writing a song the perfect tempo for conga it only seemed right that we rent a millionaires house and make a colorful 70s-themed conga horror video. Not suitable for children or grown-ups scared of conga lines.”

Sad Happy is split into two distinctive different moods, as the title would suggest. Circa Waves is showcasing this by releasing the Happy side individually on streaming platforms on January 10th, 2020. The two sides will then be released together digitally and physically as Sad Happy on March 13th, 2020.
