YUNGBLUD may have just released a new EP, but that isn’t stopping the artist from releasing new music for other projects.
Released earlier today, the singer released a Halloween-ready music video for his song on the 13 Reasons Why (season 3) soundtrack, “Die A Little.”
The video, which was shot in Bulgaria with director Andrew Sandler (whose name you may recognize due to his involvement with YUNGLBUD’s most-recent music video “hope for the underrated youth”) showcases the artist fighting off his inner demons.
“This song is about realizing and accepting the dark part of your mind that is trying to get out,” said YUNGBLUD in a press release. “People who don’t understand what you are going through will try to interfere and generalize what you’re feeling. That can end up with them getting as hurt as you. This video is a call out to take mental health seriously.”
