The London-based trio in Kero Kero Bonito are back with a new EP ahead of their North American tour!

Released earlier today, the group revealed that the follow-up to last year’s Time ‘n’ Place was officially here by way of their three-song EP Civilisation I.

The EP explores several new themes, such as religion to social issues like climate change, all the while keeping the band’s usual sound. And of the latest EP, Kero Kero Bontio member Gus Lobban shared:

“If Time ‘n’ Place was about mixing up adolescent nostalgia, contemporary millennial malaise and the daunting near future, Civilisation I blows up that timeline to cover the ancient past of primitive man (myths, cave art and tribalism), the large-scale situation facing humanity in 2019 and the distant future, when humans have been wiped from the face of Earth.”
